We prefer deals that have been ‘pre-underwritten.” We expect the mortgage banker or the sponsor to have pre-underwritten the transaction so they can easily speak to:
- Proposed deal structure
- Exit underwriting assumptions
- Proposed capital stack
- Proposed sources and uses
